#304, the one and only 'Circus scheme' FA2 in the WM stable, shown here with Gaetan's #302. Still need to add more detail....

. I can see these rolling in and around the Sandpatch grade! C&O always caught my eye, though I'm not an East Coast modeler.

I'm not sure I would have tackled C&O before now as they are very 'EMD centric". but with Gaetan's new GP7/9 plus the Es and Fs, I can cover a lot of the first generation C&O power. They also had a fair number of Alco yard switchers (S2 & S4).

Wierder than that, the C&O E7 had one 5 chime horn and one single horn Surprised

I will check with Gaetan on 6 axle Alcos. I try to do a 'representative sample' for whatever route I pick, so with only 2 each of most of the Alco models compared with 200+ Geeps and F units, PLUS covering multiple paint schemes....

This set also was going to cover some holes in Gaetan's initial WM / B&O sets.

I'll try to include what I can, but I am on a strict 200 Meg 'diet' from the boss. Laughing

my favorite would be the RSD12...perhaps a good bonus unit at some later date?

It will definitely be a bonus, Gaetan hasn't finished it yet!!

He's building one for his SP Alco pack.

C&O looking good! Can't wait for those E's, F's and Geeps in the C&O colors and logos they had. Hope you can provide a passenger set as well! If not because of the 200 meg limit, maybe lateras a bonus set! Looking forward to this from my old days in New River Gorge and Thurmond WV, and from watching for the "George Washington" passemger train on those days. My grandfather used to work for Pere Marquette in Michigan back in the 30's and 40's, then from there to the C&O in WV then to Virginian/N&W until he retired in 1959 as a car inspector.

That is so cool.

My current plan is to include streamlined passenger equipment with the set, I am also working with Phil Moberg on some heavyweight head end cars, for release at train-sim.com.

Looking forward to it Rick! I've been back to Thurmond just recently! A lot has changed, but if you let your imagination run wild a little bit you can still hear the old geeps and E/F locomotives that made these rails great so long ago. Very Happy
