I have added or changed some of the interior views of my passenger cars. But this one is not working for some reason. I want to add the interior view from the TA ACL Observation car to my NW Passenger observation. When I do this like I've done before, the exterior car changes to the ACL. After much copying ace and s files, it seems like the file eseint01.ace is the one doing this. Can I edit that ace file, or is there something else causing this not to work? How can I look at and edit ace files? I've looked at RR and Aceit, but can't figure anything out with them. Is there an easy way to do this as I have more cars I want to change or add the passenger view too? All help here is appreciated.

The interior view is on the wag file
you need this kind of lines in the wag file
Inside (
PassengerCabinFile ( OBS.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos ( 1.15 2.45 -10.00 )
RotationLimit ( 30 160 0 )
StartDirection ( 0 0 0 )
Sound ( "InGBwag1.sms" )
)

Thanks Gaetan for your prompt reply - I can do the wag files OK, but I can't figure out which ace files I need also. It's the TA ACL Obs that I'm trying to apply to my NW obs.

Hi Frog,
the ace files that are required for the passenger view of the TA ACL observation car are
ESEINT01.ACE
ESEPV1.ACE
ESEPV2.ACE
ESEPV3.ACE
ESEWIND2.ACE
Which NW observation car are you using? Does the NW observation car have any ace file that has the same name as one of the ACL observation car files above?

Hey Uli - thanks for your reply. The NW car is the rear observation car. Here are the ace files it already has:
eseint01.ace
esepass2.ace
esepv1.ace
esepv2.ace
esewind.ace
esewind2.ace
esepass2.ace
N&W-obspass.s - wag file
Again, what I'm trying to do is to use the ACL rear observation interior to the NW rear observation car. For some reason I'm having a lot of trouble doing this, but it's worked before on other interiors and cars. Did TA do something to their files to keep me from using their nice interior? Or am I just getting something all screwed up here?

I think I know what the problem is. The ace files for the ACL observation car have the same names as the ace files for the N&W observation car, so when you add the ACL ace files to the folder of the N&W car, some of the N&W ace files are overwritten, which changes the exterior of the N&W car.
Can you send me a PM with your e-mail address? Then I can send you a modified version of the ACL observation car passenger view shape file that will probably solve the problem.
