I am running the new Monon Set in the "Autoracks to Indy" activity. The act startes out fine with one big problem, no sound other the AI passenger train and the freight car sounds. I have no sounds coming from the engines. No outside, inside or virtual view sounds. I have never had this happen to any engine I have. Any ideas on why this is happening? Got to have those great ALCO sounds! Thanks.

Mike

Hello everybody. I am just wondering after reading the posts if the BLW Alco Sound Pack is required for these engines. No other engines has required the Sound Pack but I am just wondering if it is required for these Monon engines.

Gaetan,

Well, I'm looking all over the place for why is is happening. Then while listening to some music I have saved on the computer, the playback sounded like an old vinyl record. I noticed all the sounds had a kind of feedback to them. So I installed a new audio playback program (Winamp) and all the sounds on my computer sounded normal. I started up MSTS and loaded up the activity and the ALCOs never sounded better!!
I guess the Windows Media Player is corrupt somewhere, but for now this is great. I going to leave well enough alone and enjoy the sounds. Thanks for the help.

Mike
