Hello all,

I do not know if anyone here will find this useful or interesting, it was something I made for my own personal use, but I thought I would upload it here just in case.

This is a "reversed" cab view file for the Penn Central GP9 engines. By default, the Penn Central GP9s all drive "long hood forward". I personally prefer the look of the more common short hood forward configuration.

Open Rails users should place this file into the BLW_GP9_PC\CabView folder.
It should not overwrite any default files.
This may or may not be compatible with MSTS BIN, I have not tested it.

To use this file:
Bring your Penn Central GP9 to a stop.
Reverser to NEUTRAL
Train Brakes APPLY
Engine Brakes and Dynamic Brakes OFF/RELEASE
Headlights Bell and Sander OFF

Press CTRL+E and you will find yourself driving the same engine, but this time from the short hood forward perspective. The left and right views will function exactly as they did before, but will also be reversed such that your left view is from the left window on the short hood, and your rear view is now along the long hood.

KNOWN ISSUES:
It appears that Open Rails is smart enough to "flip" the direction of your headlight beam to the short hood, but it is not smart enough to put the effect of the light in the correct place on the model. You will get a beam of light from your headlights, but the effect of the bulb will be missing.

Well, I can't seem to get the file to upload.

I'll check back in a few days for any pointers, or to see if anyone is interested to begin with.
