PC Passenger Pack?

Hey kinda curious, is there any Penn Central Passenger Pack(s) that I could re-create the old PC Broadway Limited and other trains with?

There were some PC cars scattered in various sets. I think I did a few as a bonus to Gaetan's PC set, plus the Amtrak NE set has some PC cars in it.

In addition to what Rick said, remember that PC was only in the long-haul passenger business for just over 3 years, and repainting was not a high priority. You could fill out your trains with un-repainted sleepers from the PRR, sleepercoaches from the NYC, etc., and that would be perfectly prototypical.

Fair enough!!! Thanks, appreciate that, honestly! I didn't know that about the PC, I've just seen their stainless steel cars and the awesome looking green ones they had.

Though a second question, what would a typical PC Broadway consist BE, anyway? I'm not able to find much info on it. They may have not lasted long, but I've got a strange liking for them either way.

The consist would fluctuate by day-of-the-week and by season. For example, you might see:
a former NYC baggage,
a Pullman stainless steel sleeper originally built for Florida service,
a PRR Duplex-Single-Room sleeper,
a repainted 10-6 sleeper,
a PRR bedroom and lounge car,
a NYC Budd Dining Car,
a former PRR coach-lounge car with the paint buffed off and decals applied,
and three former PRR coaches rebuilt by Budd from 21-roomette sleepers and with the paint buffed off and decals applied.

That's a 10 car train. But you just might as well see a 14 car train. And it might include a B60 baggage car, additional sleepers or coaches, and a Budd twin-unit diner with its paint buffed off.

The cars from Budd with their paint buffed off was a late-PRR-era thing which featured prominently under Penn Central. Also in the late-PRR-era they acquired a few ringers, such as a pair of lounge cars from the Rio Grande. They even bought a few Budd coaches from the NYC!

They were resourceful at finding cars to fill out the trains, primarily because by law they were required to remain in the business. They also knew that some stockholders, major shippers, and government officials would judge their business skills by how well they ran their passenger service. And they were trying to maximize revenue.

Thanks Rick!! Yep saw those and using those as it is.

And thank you a bunch for the consist info guys! This is really interesting to learn, since I can't find a lot on the PC with how short-lived they were for passenger. Part of the reason I'm so fascinated by them I guess!!
