Just saw this on Facebook... Monon's first Diesel (SW1 DS-50) was severely damaged as it was being transported from ITM's old site in Noblesville, IN to the new site in Logansport, IN
I'm especially saddened, as DS-50 was the 'model' for the all BLW and BLW/ZT EMD Switcher Cabviews - a wonderful day I spent in Noblesville back in 2011 (see below). I hope that the old girl can be repaired!

The whole episode, from the museum being evicted and down to this is just so unreal. If someone was trying to write fiction they wouldn't be able to come up with a plot like this! |

Absolutely true, David. Since I posted the original picture, I learned that the move of DS-50 from Noblesville to Logansport was done AT NIGHT!
