Just completed the activity, and it all worked nicely. A comment though. I use RailDriver, and switched engine cabs. The minor issue is with the engine type selected in RailDriver. It has to start with the GP38 file to run the PRR Diesels. Then you switch to an electric loco, the GG1. I always use the HHP setting to run the GG1. Trouble is you can't change the setting of the RailDriver in the middle of an activity.

I saved, then exited the activity, shortly after exiting the tunnel out of Baltimore. Then I changed the RailDriver selection to the HHP, and reopened the saved activity.

I only point this out for future consideration to anyone making activities. BIN is a great addition, but it can lead us into some unanticipated problems.

Interesting.

I know that I'll be doing several activities on the new PRR route that switch from diesel to electric (or vice versa) in Harrisburg.

Is there a better way to handle this for the Rail Driver users?

Rick

It's not an issue with me, personally. I also know the GG1's can run with the GP38 setting, just jumps the throttle a little bit ( 1 notch is a 5 and then 10% increase, 2nd notch 15-20, and so on. Braking seems to be okay.
