Hello,

I am using equipment from the PRR 1950s Pack. The consist is 1 engine and 4 cars.

Engine : BLW_DS4410_PRR1
Cars : all 4 cars are HM_GLa_PRR1_L

When I back into a curve made of A1t90r10d sections, the cars seem to be getting too close and start bumping into each other. This seems to create forces on the train that requires me to use a lot of power on the engine to keep up a 5 mph speed. When going forward, all is fine and a minimal amount of power is required to keep the speed at 5 mph.

Any idea on how to improve this. I would like to have smoother switching operations with the cars but don.t now how to approach this problem.

Thanks

I maybe answering my own quesiton here but could this line in the WAG file be the problem :

Stiffness ( 2e1N/m 5e6N/m )

Shouldn't the first value be 2e6N/m instead. This might explain why the cars are getting so close together. The coupler is not stiff enough.

I will check this out tomorrow night. Will post the results.
