BLW/ZT PRR 1950 Set

The purpose of this set was to provide a single, multi-railroad set circa April 1950 for the PRR Eastern Region.
The idea was to provide new locomotives and freight cars specifically for the location and the era.
I received a lot of coaching and assistance from several people for which I am forever grateful.

There are renumberings of existing BLW/ZT locomotive models in this set. My focus was new and updated freight cars.
I hope you are not offended by the reuse of existing locomotive models, but this was meant to be an activity builder focused set.

As with the Buffalo set, this will be offered with and without locomotives.

There are also several brand new locomotive models created for this set:

Baldwin DS-44-1000
EMD SW1
EMD NW2
EMD SW7

THANKS TO:

This set has been 'under construction' for well over a year.
Many people have assisted in its creation, if I have forgotten your input,
I apologize. At my age, I can't tell you what I ate yesterday...

Pete Mulvey - for the original idea of creating an activity-based set
Chris Parker - for weeks, if not months, of painstaking research on what the PRR would
have looked like in April of 1950... Also for the multitude of skins for many of these freightcars, probably more skins than I did!
Steve West - for the Baldwin 608SC sounds
Michelle Yerksen and the Indiana Transportation Museum for allowing me to photograph their Monon SW1 and NKP VO-1000,
both used extensively in my cabviews.
Tim Muir - for his gracious permission to use and modify his X29 box car models for many of the older box cars in the set.
Dave Nelson for detailed drawings, photographs and knowledge of vintage freight cars.
The crew over at Elvas Tower who helped me on multiple ocassions when I was 'stuck'
David Carleton, who reworked many of the sound, ENG and CVF files to insure a quality product.
Our beta testers, Chris Parker, Rick Berg, Pete Mulvey, Gaetan Belanger and David Carleton
Rod McLauchlan (Railsim Images) for his artistic promo shots
and to my 7 year partnership with Gaetan Belanger, without whom, none of this would have been possible!

Thanks

Rick Franzosa

As I stated in my thank yous, I am always afraid I will leave someone out. I did.

Let me add

Rod McLauchlan (Railsim Images) for his artistic promo shots"

If you have been following his thread, you know EXACTLY what I mean.

He is, by far, one of the best at staging and taking screenshots.

Thank you, Rod, for coming back from the dark side to showcase this set!!!
