Hi Guys, I know my output has slowed considerably this past year, but I am still working on sets, and I have new help from Chris Parker (ConductorChris over at trainsim.com) who is a very talented reskinner. Here is a taste of what we are working on - a 1945-1950 vintage set of freight cars.

PRR GLa Hopper car (they had 25,000 or so!)

A Cambria & Indiana version of the same car with raised sides

PRR H21a Quad Hopper (can't find the skinned version Very Happy )

Composite side PRR H31b

Standard USRA 55 ton twin hopper

Standard USRA 55 ton twin offset hopper

C of G USRA 70 ton offset triple hopper

USRA 70 ton offset quad hopper (yes, I know it's the same skin Very Happy )

These cars will come with additional variations, other road names, etc. I will finish them, I promise!!

Rick

Skip,

Thanks!

It turns out that NP had the largest number of the WW2 "War Emergency" box cars, so I have included two, even though this is a 'northeast' set.

Updates:

Well, though I have 'hit the wall' with the SW1 cabview, I can state that the ONE HUNDRED freight cars are nearly complete for this set.

As the pack is set in 1950, the majority of the equipment is boxcars and hoppers, HOWEVER, we have dozens of variations in the mix.

As of last night, we were down to 8 more cars to finish.

Some of the more unique items....

Another "new baby".

In 1950, this switcher (Baldwin DS4-4-1000) numbered 136 units on the PRR, second only to EMD F3s (146).
