While examining the shape of the Amtrak Heritage Southeast set in shape viewer I noticed that BLW_E8A_AMTK216.s does not have the standard bogie and wheel objects. Testing in the simulator shows that the wheels and bogie do not turn. Is there a patch for this issue? If a purchase is made after a patch is released, is the patch included? |

I will produce a patch, and yes, patches are available to all who purchased the set at no extra charge.
I am out of town, but will get the fix done by the end of the week.

Also BLW_E8A_AMTK243.s and BLW_E8A_AMTK245.s has the same problem. Shape has these objects one level too deep, Floor/Main_Body_New/Bogie1. |

I will check. I know that I have run 243 and 245 a lot, and I didn't notice any issue. I'm not sure it matters how deep the hierarchy is, as long as it ends with Bogie and Wheel. Maybe someone else can chime in? _________________ Rick Franzosa - ZosaTrains

BLW_E8A_AMTK216.s and BLW_E8A_AMTK4316.s are part of the Amtrak Heritage Northeast Pack. I just checked them in the simulator. The wheels and trucks on those units are turning properly.
I do not have the Amtrak Heritage Southeast Pack, so I can't say anything about the units in that set. |

They ALL were working properly at some point (I DO test these things, folks!), but there are a bunch of them that are 'locked up' now.
I'm going to go through the lot and see if I can find out what went wrong.
This is both embarrasing and annoying!!
Rick
*EDIT*
I built a consist with all 14 of my Amtrak E8 and E9 models. The problem appears to be limited to #233 (SCL), #243 & #245. I will fix them and submit a patch. ARGGGGGGGHHHH!
krausyao, could you please check #216 again? I did not find any problem with that unit.
Thanks! _________________ Rick Franzosa - ZosaTrains

I checked 216 again and there is no problem with that unit. I meant to have said 233 in my first post, sorry. |

No need to be sorry. I do need to know when something is not right. Thank you for pointing it out!!
