I was just wondering if Rick was planning any activities for the PRR Eastern Division Beta now that it's available for download. I would think the PRR Freight, PRR Passenger and PC Sets would be screaming for a true Pennsy setting to cut loose on. Plus I can see equipment from other sets being used as well.

Yes, yes, yes....
I'm in the middle of the C&O set right now, but I have a few semi-finished PRR activities for the PRR-E in the hopper, all passenger at this point:
Cincinnati Limited Eastbound starting just west of Altoona
NH/PRR "Senator" from north/east of New York to Washington
NH/PRR "Senator" from Washington to New York and beyond
There are also a few activities that Mike DiMaio is putting out that use BLW/ZT equipment. I think they are being released on the CLW website, I'll let you know when I hear.

4 zip-files downloaded, 4 to go...
Was just thinking about to ask Rick the same question.
I'm gonna buy the DVD when they have it on CLW but can't wait until I got it...
Think we'll have lots of hours of driving there to looking forward.

Bert,
I have to tell you, the biggest problem with PRR-E is the sheer size. It can easily crash the activity editor if your not careful.
In order to move around the route in the AE when I'm building activities, I have to turn off all of the station and siding labels, then move, then turn them back on to see if I ended up in the right place! ... and I have a failrly hi-end system!!
I will most likely deliver activities in 'bite sized chunks'.

I think I've to give my planned summertrips a second thought, have a feeling I need to upgrade my computer with a new CPU & graphic card
Rick, do you mean this route will bring many computers on their knees begging for mercy and compared to GN Hi-Line at Havre PRR East is way more demanding for many of us?

Bert,
It really depends where you are on the route. I know that the area around Zoo Tower in Philadelphia is a real frame rate killer.
None of my activities have made it to Philly yet, so I can't say this is real life experience

Just did test installing on my 2nd computer while I waiting to upgrading my 1st computer, bought a NVIDIA Geforce 9800 1 GB DDR3 but I need a heavier transformator and a better CPU 1st.
Any way to get rid of that fog on the route, no fun when you can't see anything around the route
Using this consist: PRR 4900 (ZT-Cowen-GG1) & BLW_ZT_PRRPass_1949 for the 1st part. For the 2nd & 3rd I've chosen BLW_ZT_E7_PRR & BLW_ZT_PRRPass_1949.
BTW I've found a good sound for those GG1, using the sound from Little Joe (Milwaukee).
