Geatan
I want to thank you for your help and understanding, I refered wrong to the sound, I am refering to the good realistic train master sound with radio chatter, I have reloaded the L&N F9 and sound programs from utility page, but the L&N engine and all my other F's, GP's and SD's still have the original sound, everything worked prior to my having to reload MSTS.
As I mentioned before all the programs work well, but all have the original sound.
Thanks again for you help and patirnce.

But you have only "train master sound" with the L&N F9 Free demo Larry

If when you run the L&N F9 you ear the sound all is ok

When I run the L&N F9, my other F's, GP's & SD's I have the original old sound, not the train master sound, that has been my problem since reloading MSTS, not being able to get the train master sound to activate.

So, if the L&N F9 sound works, but it doesn't work for any of the other F's, it sounds like you need to install the sound set up packs for each of the other loco sets.

Is that right, Gaetan?

Rick

Thank you all for your help and suggestions, I guess I will have to live with what I have, I must have qlitch in my MSTS, I reinstalled all the BLW programs I have, starting with the L&N F-9, purchased SD's, GP's and othe F's, and their sounds add on's from the utilities page, they still all have the original sound, not the Train Master sound when played, encluding the L&N F-9.

Larry,

just a thought: What are your sound options settings in MSTS?

In MSTS if you go to "Options" ---> "Sound" there are four sliders. The fourth slider ("Number of sounds") has to be set to "High" to get the full EMD sound and the cab chatter.

The sound setting was the problem!! I went to options and the setting was at the default, I moved to high, then tried my different locomotives and they all have that great Train master EMD sound now, the system must have went back to default when I reloaded MSTS.
You guys are great, having the patience to help me out, I thank you all very much, I will be ordering more programs soon.
Larry
