Season's Greetings,

I just purchased the MILW Milwaukee Hiawatha set, installed with no errors, but get the following error messages from MSTS when I try to run the Hiawatha consists:

Cannot find file ... \Trainset=BLW_F7_MILW\FP7A_Fanim.s
Cannot find file ... \Trainset=BLW_F7_MILW\FP7B_Fanim.s
Can't add car F7A_MILW_01 (UID:200000) to world
Can't add car F7A_MILW_01 (UID:200001) to world
Can't add car F7A_MILW_01 (UID:200002) to world

I've searched my entire Trainset directory but no sign of any "FP7A_Fanim.s" or "FP7B_Fanim.s" files. I don't think the .exe installer included them.

Anyone else run into this one? And how may I get the missing files so that I can run this great train? Thanks very much.

Gaetan,

I received the Milwaukee Hiawatha trainset shortly after it was released, and my folder "BLW_F7_MILW" also did not contain the files I never had an issue with this since the original .eng files did not have freightanim lines.

However, I found that the .eng files for units #98A, #98B, and #98C that are installed by the sound setup installer for the Milwaukee Hiawatha trainset now have the freightanim lines (which is correct since #98A, #98B, and #98C were FP7s, not F7s). Is it possible that you forgot to add the freightanim .s files to the main installer for the set after you changed that?

I copied the freightanim .s files from the folder "BLW_F7_MILW2" (Milwaukee/UP Hiawatha trainset), so my problem is solved now.

EDIT: I just installed the set again into a temp folder from my installer dated 01.12.2007. No files "FP7A_FAnim.s" and "FP7B_FAnim.s" are installed by this installer.

That did the trick! Now I can drive the Hiawatha down Indiana's old Monon line for a special holiday excursion. Thank you, Father Christmas, and thanks, uli and Gaetan!
