I just set up the SP black widow units and in the sim i noticed a red rod sticking out in each of the four footwells, in real life this would be very dangerous Rolling Eyes , i then went back over all of the other roads and they all had the same but in different colours. it is part of the Freight animations not the main shape files in all the roads, i did try to work out where the colour comes from on the ace files so i could try to alpha the ends off but could not work out where they come from.

I just looked closely at Rods excellent pics of the set progress and you can see the abnomoly in many of the set shots taken at the right angle.

Thanks Gaetan,

Ron never saw it until setting up the black widows because on those it was red in colour, as the black widows were the last unit i got running , i had missed it on all the others prior to that.

Thanks for the find, and thanks for the fix; Bernard & Gaetan! Loving these nostalgic Geeps & SDs. Hope to see some chop nose versions in the future, Gaetan.

P.S. Off this subject, but mentioned before; if you get back to your road themed sets; don't forget some of the Midwestern fallen flags. Milwaukee Road, Rock Island & MoPac to name a few!!

Jim,

I spent a day at the St Louis Museum of Transportation last month and burned more that a few pixels on MoPac equipment there with my digital camera.

There will definitely be a Missouri Pacific set coming out in 2009....
