PayPal Problems

Ok, so last weekend I decided to purchase another BLW/ZT set and lo and behold, PayPal claims that my credit card number is not valid. Strange, just last month I sucessfully bought the Amtrak East set. Amazon.com takes my card (direct payment). SWREG accepts my card. The local gas station takes my card as does the grocery store.

I talked to my bank and they did confirm my credit card is valid (I've had the same number forever). They did tell me that PayPal is so caught up in stopping credit card fraud that they sometimes will deny a perfectly valid transaction for no reason at all. They don't have to accept payment or give a reason why.

Unfortunatly, It looks like I won't be doing any more business with companies that only take payment through PayPal. This is more my loss than anyone elses.

I had a similar experience with PayPal some time ago. I gave them a phone call and it turned out that they had a legitimate reason to suspect that someone else had used my PayPal account (which was not the case). After the case was explained my account was activated again within one or two days.
They are just very careful to stop credit card fraud. Not bad in my opinion.

I also had sometime problems with paypal. But they have more options than just paying with credit card. You also can use bank transfers from your home bank account about paypal. This is possible.
If i bought about this option, so i just wrote an email with the id number of bank transfer to gaetan and got my download link altought gaetan has wait few days of the money. It have few options to pay from "just with paypal seller"...
