:twisted:Well Gaetan and Rick may not be too happy to read this post...... but, there was a major merger in the Midwest that took place in March of 1970. Well after looking at the early shots of the CR fleet in the early days of its merger, well made me wonder...here is a shot.

Makes one wonder what type of release that Rick and Gaetan could come up with for early repaints of the newly mergered Burlington Northern Railroad.....BN Now don't get mad...just thinking out loud or should I say typing out my thoughts Skip |

Skip,
It's people like you that keep me from buying Railworks. How can I get a new sim when my backlog keeps growing on the old one???
Not to worry. If Gaetan doesn't tackle this one, I will

Wow, I can handle this. Looking forward to driving Amtrak Empire Builder on GN HiLine and facing those babies en route.
How can I even thought to buying RailWorks when I've over 10 000 pieces of rolling stock only for US routes and the same number for Europe and Russian routes. Well some day but not in near future.
Keep on going Rick & Gaetan. |

Great input, Skip! The BN merger and its evolution--particularly the early test paint schemes--would be a natural for Rick and Gaetan. The breadth of locomotives and rollingstock makes such a venture a veritable feast.
And Rick, I own both RailWorks and MSTS, and have to split my time because BLW/Zosatrains material IS NOT available for RailWorks, and I can't live without the look and sound that comes with your models.
Keep it coming...

I think it would be a nice set of an "1970 BN Empire Builder". I guess the train run just about the only one year in this paintsheme. Few cars are availible with the AMTRAK NW set. But i am sure you can create a full set. Look forward... |
