I know we have been told there is another set coming before or after Christmas....Can you give us a peek? I know we have been pestering for more older SP freight units but lets NOT forget the Santa Fe. It is absolutley amazing at the LACK of good ATSF anywhere in the older blue & yellow scheme....some call it the "bookend" scheme. We have Geep 7s and 9s, but thats about it for GOOD detailed models. WOULD BLW ever consider doing some Alco RSD-15s and SD24s? Id say thats about the next step up from an SD9 and we ALL know what a good job was done covering them! Smile

Hi Gang,

Gaetan is out of town for a couple of days. I know he is working on some other Alco models, and at least one of the western rails is the target. As far as the next release, that would be the SD9 pack for the east coasters.... now that the beta testers have finished pointing out (and I have finished fixing) some, ahem, quality control issues Embarassed

Rick

Thanks Rick for being so forthright Smile

I've been watching some Emery Gulash videos from the 60's, and some Union Pacific SD24s and SD24Bs would be sweet. But, I have the patience of Job and will take whatever the BLW team dishes up.

Happy Holidays!
Dave

Southern SD9's or SD24's would be nice as well and would be well worth the wait to get them. They were quite common around my part of NC during the 60's on up into the early 90's around some of the yards. Very Happy

That be them in their later years which looks great. I'll take 'em. However, I was refering to their predecessor scheme, Southern Railroad which merged with N&W to form what we now know as Norfolk Southern
