Hey all. New here, but not to Train-sim. I thought I'd post this here since it's a BLW product.... I thought I had aliasing figured out, but this one stumped me... I bought the CNW set last night, and for some reason, only certain sounds work. The horn, bell, and brake sounds, for the most part, work fine. But I don't get engine sounds in any of the locomotives. I've checked and double checked the .sms files to me, and have traced each path, and they are all ok. All the .wav files match up with the ones called for in the .sms files, yet, in my models, there are limited sounds. Any ideas? This one really got me stumped... Shocked Confused Question I experiment and tried fixing the .sms files 4 times, and realiasing them to other sounds 6 times, to no avail. Either exterior sounds wont work, certain inside sounds wont work, and/or i can hear both the exteriror and interior sounds in the cab.... Does this have to do with the fact that the engines have three sound lines?

Tom,

just to make sure: Are your sound sliders in MSTS at maximum?

with this pack ( F9 L&N ) you see how my common folder is now

common.snd/BLW/EMD/F7

my old folder is

common.snd/BLW_Sound/EMD_Sound/F7_Sound

just use the same pattern for the Alco folders

The CNW set is loaded with great Alco locomotives. Gaetan's new Alco sound set has the bonus self-installers for same. Trust me, you won't be disappointed by these sounds!
