Good Day All,
I recently attemtped to run an activity using the NWSC and PRR DS44s. Both locomotives, when reverser is in forward, actually move in the reverse direction.
When reverser is in reverse, they move in the forward direction.
Screenshot also shows no headlight glow (on either side of the locomotive), and locomotive is moving toward the camera, in spite of reverser being set to forward.

Hi,
Is it possible for you to give me some more detail? I just tried the NWSC loco in both OR and MSTS and it ran in the proper direction.
Thanks

Hi All,
I have downloaded the latest version of OR and the Baldwins do run backwards. Gaetan and I will investigate and I will report this to the OR team as well.
Thanks for your patience on this. It does run fine in MSTS and earlier versions of OR.....

Which version of OR?
It works in version 0.9.0.1648 |
Currently using OR X2822.
OR log file attached. I have more screencaps featuring a more detailed F5 readout, two of which are attached here.
Log file also attached.
Note in the above, locomotive information shows unit in reverse and Car 1 in FWD. As you can see it is only the locomotive.
In the above, with reverser set to Neutral, you will note that both locomotive and the mysterious "Car 1" is also in N.
Note light glow on terrain in above picture. However, looking at the engine, it appears that the headlight is not on, as seen in other pictures. |

Sorry, having trouble adding the OR Log File to the above reply. |

Hi All,
Gaetan was able to "trick" OR into working properly by changing the cabview. I will have a patch out later today. This affects the NWSC Baldwin switcher (Troop Train Bonus) and the PRR and CNJ Baldwin switchers (PRR 1950 set).
