Does anyone have any information on the MSTS Buffalo route?
I purchased the Buffalo megaset in anticipation of the release of the route and activities but it appears to have fizzled out?
I hope not but...
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thank you

My question too, so what happened to that new route? I have held off in buying the Mega Pack to see what the route is like first. I do have the old version and might use that if the new version doesn't materialize. Then maybe I'll buy the Mega Pack. Just wondering.

Hi Guys,
Denis Gionet was working on an activity template(s), but the route builder kept changing tracks. Last I checked (soon after release of the Buffalo set), Teemu was still making changes.
I will ping Denis and see if he knows anything.
Thanks

Denis Gionet contacted the route builder (Teemu Saukkonen), and Teemu's response was that he will release the route 'ASAP'....
I am assuming that release will take place at trainsim.com, where the BETA version is currently stored.
Thanks

How does Teemu's route differ from Paul M. Raynes' version? |

Mr. Raynes route is the Buffalo and Susquehana, the route update referred here is Buffalo, NY area, and the latest version is bufbeta2.zip at Trainsim. |

Ok, thanks. Was quite confused since they both use "Buffalo". |

Email this evening from Denis Gionet:

Bonjour Rick,
Just to confirm that I have now the final release of the route and expect to start on a template.
In addition to the Buffalo set, I consider adding two additional sets from BLW/ZT: the PRR 1950 and the PC freight set. Many of the rolling stock and some motive power will be used in the PRR 1950 set while the PC has additional motive power like the Alco C-630 and C-420 for example. In addition to these three sets, there will be very little additional downloads to complete the required stock.
My work on the template may not go as fast as it used to since other interests will be taking more and more of my time, a little like you isn't it?
Take care Rick and keep in touch
Denis

The template is in the works. We have the route now.I'm testing the Niagara region template. So far so good, great frame rates too.
I believe the route is still fine tuning at this point. Benny |

Hi to all,
For those using the MSTS Activity Generator (AG) program, the Buffalo Template is now in full gear at this moment. More than 1100 sidings have been marked for service, regrouped in 130 regions.
In addition of the NIAJ template, the Buffalo Creek (BCK) has been done and am currently working on the last of the three industrial RR's, that is the South Buffalo RR. Benny is currently testing the BCK and his report is good.
The SBRR will serve both the Republic and Bethlehem steel plants and some industrial sidings..

Hi Bookman,
I have contacted Teemu a few weeks ago about updates to the route. I have not received any reply from him, not yet.
Will try to give some news once he replies.
Thanks
