Excellent! ...but it would be good to see these as a set like the SD9's and GP9's as so few Roads adopted them? Despite the poor reviews and history of these units I always thought that if they were THAT bad? ..How come the roads that bought them kept them so long?

The Rock Islands had steam generators added in 1951. I actually saw one, mated with an EMD re-engined ALCO DL109 in Minneapolis, leading the Twin Star Rocket out of the Milwaukee station. Date had to be 1961 or 62.

Lucky there's some of us "Old Gits" on here? I was thinking that over here in 61/2 I could still see mainline steam hauled trains. All the youngsters your side of the pond seem to want is GEVO's painted in Heritage Liveries? Laughing This side of the pond just seeing a loco hauled anything is rare now. Very Happy
