Have been working at separating all the cars and engines into individual
folders so as not to overcrowd my trainsets in my mini routes. After all the
files were put in each car in the LS&I freight pack, using shape file manager, I come up with some extra files. There is a freight amin, brake_ sys.s & brake_sys.sd which is not called for in any of the wag files. There are ace files, 6wheel.ace, New.ace,Wh1.ace, Wheels4.ace & WheelsBL.ace which are not called for in the image section of any of the .s files. Are they just extras or am I missing something as to where they belong. I need some Help!

Hi Rick,

I have to say I don't remember. Some of those ace files sound like they are required (new.ace, WH1.ace, etc.), but if the cars load and run in the sim, I'm guessing they are extra.

There were many iterations of the ore cars as I struggled to improve frame rates. I wouldn't be surprised if there were extra ace files.

I don't have MSTS on this computer or I would check.

Thanks

Rick
