Is Monon v12 a real standalone ?

Is Monon v12 a real standalone or does it need to have MSTS. I have been trying to installMononv12 for he past two days and have not been able to get it to work. For some reason the Terrtes folder goes not generate durinf the installation. I gett all kind of error when trying to run. Thanks for any help in this regard.
