Hi-
Recently, the software company, Halycon Media, released their V90-Paket, a free download as a gift to us "MSTS Nuts". The V90 was, by the way, a (West) German diesel/hydraulic locomotive of the 1950's not unlike our own GP7/9's (as far as usage). And a lot of them are still in service today, renumbered in the 290 series.

Anyway, an interesting thing about these downloaded models is that the wiper key ( v ) plays the sound of the engine firing up and when pressed again has the sound of the wind down as the motor is turned off. Nothing really new there, this has been a feature of a lot of the sets from ProTrain, etc. sometimes using the bell key ( b ) instead.

But was is unique is that with this V90 set not only do you get the start-up sound but the radiator fan begins to spin. It is the wiper animation, instead of the wipers being the animation (If I explained that right Wink ).

The link to this set is:

Pehaps futher proof that MSTS ain't quite dead yet!

Happy New Year to all-
Dave

I am wondering if there is an english version of the site. It is hard to read a site when it is not in English.

No there isn't. But I know what you mean. My own personal favorite routes for MSTS are the routes from German Railroads, ProTrain, Halycon, etc. I'd take a short high speed express over a lumbering trans-con any day. Unfortunatly most of those activities are in German Crying or Very sad
