Hi All-
Been playing around again with a few repaints, this time early Amtrak-
404, an E9, was the first unit to be painted in Amtrak's Platinum Mist paint scheme. It was ex-SCL 3060 and the only E9 on the SAL/SCL roster, bought to replace a wrecked E8. It was, also, the fourth to last E9 built by EMD, the last three going to UP.
249, an E8, and ... well I really don't know anything about it other than it was, again, ex-SCL. And that it had a pretty interesting patch job.
And 265, an ex-Penn Central E8 with three portholes, here on lowly commuter service.
