Hi Gaetan or Rick

I have the Alco sound pak. When I install any engine pak, I get the default Alco sounds. However after I install the sound pak and individual engine pak setups, I loose all alco sounds. I loose the sound to any alco that is assigned to the sound pak. All other engines have the appropriate sound, EMD etc. I run windows 7 and have tried every configuration I can think of. As a test, I installed train sim and the paks on a computer that runs windows xp and had no problems. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

You're asking about the Alco Sound Pak? That's A-S-P.

Are all the ALCO sound pak files located where they're supposed to be in your common sound folder?

OK, sorry! Yes the files are all there. The new sound pak folders such as rs3,s4 etc and their wave and sms file contents plus the original engine paks installation wave and sms files in the root alco folder. I tried attaching a screenshot of the file directory but it keeps telling me the maximum file size for all attachment is reached. The file is 6 kb. What is the maximum file size?

What is your "Quantity of Sounds" slider set to?
It has to be set to high, not medium or low.

That was the problem! What a great set of sounds. Thanks for your help. I have a number of your products and they are real special. Keep up the great work. Thanks again
