While testing out the CRR pack in Open Rails this evening (great work!), I discovered that the right side cab window of the SW7 was missing. I tracked it down to this line in the sw7.cvf:

CabViewFile ( "../../Common.Cab/BLW_Cab/SW/SW_Right.ace " )

Removing the quotes corrected the problem.

There is also an issue in the forward main and left cabviews involving a gap between the locomotive hood and the window frame. I corrected it by changing this line:

Position ( 1.08 3.369 -3.213 )

I increased the height to 3.469 on each of the three occurrences. Now it looks like it does in MSTS.

It also affects the cabviews in the earlier sw7s and sw1200s in the SW west pack, as well as NW2s and sw1s from the Buffalo pack. (There are no visible gaps in the NW2/SW1 cabs, but the changes I made are a definite improvement there as well.) I think it's safe to assume that any pack containing EMD switchers would be affected. Over the weekend, I'll check out some of the other cabs in my collection.

Gaetan, I was informed that the Global FOV I was using was longer than the standard to which the cabs were built. I apologize for my error.

I re-checked the information in this thread, and checked the SW cabs at FOV settings of 36, 41, and 45. In each case, there was a gap before changing to the value I posted earlier.
