Hello there,

last time the new KCS Meridian speedway was released on train-sim.com.
My question is about the legandary KCS Southern Belle train. The train was driven about this route in history? And if not, does anyone know if existing routes for the Southern Belle?

cheers, Michael

The Southern Belle ran North/South between Kansas City, Texarkana, Shreveport, and New Orleans. The Meridian Speedway route in the library runs East/West, so it is not the same route.

In recent times the Kansas City Southern has expanded in all directions, even into Mexico. They do keep an official train that looks just like the old Southern Belle and they run it wherever they need to go for business. Occasionally you may see that train on the Meridian Speedway, mixed with modern freight traffic.
