Rick, I am running your Maybrook Piggyback Part 1 activity on the 1940s version of the LH&R route and when I blow the whistle/horn for a railroad crossing I am not getting anything outside the cab. I hear the engine sounds and they are not right either. I am not getting the throttle up or down sounds or horn like I am supposed to. Is there a fix or this? Inside the cab is ok but not outside the cab.

Scott.

I am confused. In this activity you should not be driving the PRR F7s. You are supposed to replace them with the 4 RS3s.

As far as the sound is concerned, the only thing I can think of is maybe you need to download the free L&N F7 to get the sound. Gaetan, can you think of anything else?

Rick

Your instructions for swaping out the power in the activity is not clear. All it says it to swap out the power. I got the activity finished though. When somebody says swap out the power, it usually means to change engines and change cabs I thought. Maybe I'm wrong.

Sorry about that. There is a strict character limit in the message boxes in MSTS, so it is hard sometimes to get the point across in few words. What I meant was, use the RS3s to remove the PRR units, then couple the RS3s to the train.

No I haven't used the sounds on the utility page because I have the Alco Sound Set and I thought the sounds on the utility page were the same thing. I'll go check out the utility page and see what I can come up with.
