Gaetan,
The cursor selection area for the throttle covers the Headlight switch. Notice what happens when I put my cursor over the Headlight switch. Have to turn headlights on from keyboard.

Open the ENG file in WordPad and Comment out the FreightAnim line and you will be able to test what happens and easily revert back if needed.
